Course Information

General Japanese Course

Our courses address a large area of wants and needs offering language training for both busines and daily life. Through activities simulating daily life situations and theme-based topics, our students develop well-balanced, four language skills (speaking, listening, reading, and writing) in Japanese. At the intermediate and advanced levels, we offer the students a language training necessary for pursuing further education or a career in Japan and for other various purposes.

Level Objectives

◯Beginner

  • Can order at restaurants in simple and short sentences or make appointments with friends

  • Students can communicate information about themselves, such as their hobbies and where they live

  • Can explain events that have happened and mention opinions in simple sentences

  • Can ask, suggest, advice, or prohibit someone according to the situation

◯Intermediate

  • Can gather useful information through media like internet to find a place to live, part time job, and items they are looking for

  • Understand manners and rules in Japan and act accordingly

  • Compare the habits and culture of their country with those of Japan and explain the differences

  • Can write and talk about their experiences, explaining the details

◯Intermediate-Advanced

  • Can listen and read passages about society and culture and comprehend them. Also can mention their opinions

  • Can summarize what they want to say and exchange information and opinions

  • Comprehend the main points of newspapers and news and mention their opinions

  • Can exchange information and opinions even with those who have different opinions

◯Advanced

  • Can gain information about the areas of their interest from the media, like newspaper and internet, and utilize them

  • Can use appropriate expression depending on the situation and the person they are speaking to, and share their opinions

  • Can listen and read raw materials, such as documentary programs and books and argue about them

  • Can write a persuasive essay in a good structure and give a presentation in Japanese
